Having celiac disease, I'm committed to spreading the joy of great cooking, the gluten free way. I have always had a love for food and have been cooking since a very young age. When I was first diagnosed with Celiac in 2007, I thought I would never have my favorite comfort foods again. I ate pretty blandly for fear of getting sick while I longed for baked desserts, fried foods, pizza and pasta. I didn't know what to eat. I realized I had to find a way to make the things I missed. Through much research and many mistakes, I finally was able to satisfy those cravings. A lot of my recipes are family recipes I learned from my mom growing up, just modified. Others were experiments that I just had to try if I was going to eat "normal" again. I want to share what I have learned with you! We don't have to be without the foods we used to eat and miss.
